Like the title says, it’s the bazaar Mamenchisaurus youngi. I used Scott Hartman skeletal as reference. (Link below)
[link] Regarding the neck, as you probably know sauropod necks are debatable, a few comments below have touched on this. I posed it in the Neutral Pose (no elevation/no depression) , so the image is (arguably) more conservative. It's not like it's impossible that it could carry the head in this pose. When I first posted this there was some confusion as to what it is. This is not a pencil drawing or a physical painting. It is a digital painting. Nothing has been scanned, photographed, modified, it is not a pencil sketch. It’s painted in Photoshop using a graphics tablet. (This comment applyed to the old, uncloured version version: see below) All the comments made by other poeple before May 5th 2009 apply to the WIP version. UPADTE: I have finally uploaded the finnished version. (Which I finnished several weeks ago but for some reason never got around to uploading it here.)
