Falcarius utahensis,

I started this before the new Beipiaosaurus specimen was described. If falcarius had fuz as long as Beipiaosaurus then it would look a little chunkier than what I have drawn. I didn't want to redraw it, but I did add in some quills.
Oh and the head: the tip of the snoat isn't preserved in Falcarius and Beipiaosaurus seems to have a beak, I wasn't shure whether to give Falcarius one....

UPDATE 23/07/2010: Major update. The original of this image was based an GSP skeletal. I imagined the animal without perspective (or squashed perspective) to save time.

I later forgot that I had done this and added a background with perspective. It gave a misleading idea of the animals proportions.

This has been extensively modified based on mounts of the skeleton and Hartman's new skeletal.

The old version can be seen here: [link]

I think the neck is actually really "Fluffy" since there's kind of an outline of the body on the fossil

What, you mean on Beipiaosaurus? Yea, if I had started this after the Beipiaosaurus speciemen I would have given it thicker, fluffier neck.
